Experts warn that criminals are using publicly available generative AI models to create new images of children who have already been abused. These <strong>perpetrators share datasets<\/strong> of abuse images to customize AI models and even offer monthly subscriptions to artificially generated abuse materials.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Internet Watch Foundation (IWF)<\/strong>, a non-profit organization from the UK that identifies and removes cases of abuse on the internet, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iwf.org.uk\/about-us\/why-we-exist\/our-research\/how-ai-is-being-abused-to-create-child-sexual-abuse-imagery\/\"><strong>described in a report <\/strong> in all detail<\/a>, how this technology is misused.
